Now the creator is back, with Maika Monroe and Nicolas Cage on board, and the script gives a strong mix of dark crime with a touch of horror. It is clear that the creators really want to intrigue the viewer, present their own mythology, and perhaps even trigger some form of viral sensation. In theory, this is quite successful.
