Cyberpunk 2077 Orion – Big Names on the Team admin, February 7, 2024 Now we have learned that the team of creators has made room for industry veterans. The good news, however, is that work is actually progressing. Developers can already boast significant achievements, as we can find among them CDPR. CD Projekt Red also confirmed that additional employees have joined the team in Boston, where Cyberpunk 2077 Orion is being developed. Who are we specifically talking about? Dan previously worked as the head of production at Amazon Games, head of production and product management at Panic Button, and as a senior product manager at Blizzard Entertainment – and contributed to the creation of titles such as New World, Apex Legends, and Diablo III. Ryan Barnard has previously served as the director of games at Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft, as well as the director of gameplay at IO Interactive, the company behind the Hitman game. He will contribute as the director of design. Alan Villani joins the Project Orion team as the director of engineering, previously using his technical knowledge as the vice president of technology in various WB Game products, including technical leadership on several Mortal Kombat titles. Anna Megill is an award-winning writer and has 20 years of experience in the video game industry. She joins Project Orion as the lead writer, with narrative contributions to titles such as Control (Remedy), Dishonored: Death of The Outsider (Arkane), Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (Ubisoft Massive), Guild Wars 2 (ArenaNet), and the upcoming Fable (Playground Games). Alexander Freed will further strengthen the writing for Project Orion. A New York Times bestselling author, narrative designer, and comic book writer with over 15 years of experience in game writing, he previously worked as the lead writer at BioWare, including on Star Wars: The Old Republic. He has also written for and consulted with various major studios, including DICE, Obsidian Entertainment, Wizards of the Coast, and 20th Century Fox’s games division FoxNext. The company is currently looking for more employees for its offices in Boston and Vancouver. Interested individuals can, of course, submit their resumes through online job postings.
