Creators reassure fans without VR set
The creators have announced that Metro 4 is also in the works. Unfortunately, this does not satisfy the series’ fans who do not have VR. What about the full-fledged continuation of the series? It has been playable for some time and is ready for release in 2025.

But what about all the players without VR sets? When is the release date? Well, we don’t know that yet. Work on the next installment of the Metro series is being continued separately at 4A Games, as stated in the press release distributed to the media after the Metro Awakening showcase.

This means that Metro 4 (or whatever it will be called) is still in production. It will probably take some time before the game is released, so don’t be surprised. The situation of the developers may be comparable to that of GSC Game World, currently working on STALKER 2. Nonetheless, it’s good to hear assurances that not only VR fans have something to look forward to.
