Please join us January 7, 9:30am – noon, at the Arch Street United Methodist Church, 55 N. Broad Street, for “Always Forward, Never Back” – an education and advocacy forum.
This is an ALL inclusive event, where you can meet other like-minded individuals and groups attending the Women’s March on Washington, as well as the PA state organizers. Whether you are new to marching or a veteran, this event is for you! We are strong, but we are stronger together.
Hundreds of women and men are expected to attend the forum to learn more about the historic January 21 march, first amendment rights, civil liberties and peaceful demonstrations. State Representative Donna Bullock (D-Philadelphia), representatives from the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, ADAPT, and well-known social activists will discuss crucial issues facing women and disenfranchised communities under the new administration and how to effectively advocate on the local, state and federal levels.

PLEASE NOTE: Attendees encouraged to arrive early for seating and networking. Speakers begin promptly at 10am.
COST: Attendees are asked to donate $5 each, to cover the cost of the event space rental. Any residual funds from the donations, will be donated to the march itself and if possible to help individuals who may not be able to afford travel to DC for the march.
VIDEO: We are planning to have the event video recorded and made available to view online for those who cannot attend. Unfortunately we are unable to live stream.
PARKING: please be aware that the church is located on Broad Street not far from City Hall. Parking may be a challenge. There is metered on-street parking and parking garages nearby. Consider carpooling or take public transit. Thank you to everyone for their interest, and we look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday January 7.
